Movie Dialogue Sample
Cmo estis, amigo? And an ay,
ay, ay, ay to you.
348
00:31:00,534 --> 00:31:03,395
Gentlemen, I'd like you to meet Pearl.
349
00:31:03,495 --> 00:31:06,065
She sings at the Golden Sombrero.
350
00:31:06,165 --> 00:31:07,900
Hey, Pearl.
- Hi.
351
00:31:08,000 --> 00:31:12,335
Show business, huh?
I bet you have a glamorous life.
352
00:31:13,088 --> 00:31:14,865
This is Art Long.
- Hello.
353
00:31:14,965 --> 00:31:17,635
That's Sam Phillips.
- Hello.
354
00:31:17,718 --> 00:31:19,703
I do business with them occasionally.
355
00:31:19,803 --> 00:31:23,249
Oh, I'm sorry, that's their wives,
Trixie and Angel.
356
00:31:23,349 --> 00:31:28,712
You kinda look like Dillinger, Mr Long.
Did anybody ever tell you that?
357
00:31:28,812 --> 00:31:31,215
Oh no, you mean John Dillinger,
the criminal?
358
00:31:31,315 --> 00:31:32,758
Uh-huh.
359
00:31:32,858 --> 00:31:36,053
Some folks think I look
like Douglas Fairbanks.
360
00:31:36,153 --> 00:31:39,356
I like Dillinger better.
361
00:31:39,448 --> 00:31:43,953
He does look like him.
I've told him a thousand times.
362
00:32:12,898 --> 00:32:16,943
You know, John,
with Charley and Eddie gone,
363
00:32:17,027 --> 00:32:20,112
we're gonna need someone else.
364
00:32:20,197 --> 00:32:24,727
I ain't ever seen the bank the three
of us couldn't rob. Have you, Harry?
365
00:32:24,827 --> 00:32:29,440
Oh. You're starting to believe that
stuff they put in the newspapers.
366
00:32:29,540 --> 00:32:30,649
Don't you?
367
00:32:30,749 --> 00:32:33,611
You say them fellas give you this $100 bill...
368
00:32:33,711 --> 00:32:37,536
...to carry their valises into the hotel, eh?
369
00:32:42,511 --> 00:32:44,511
And they was heavy, eh?
370
00:32:46,974 --> 00:32:50,714
And that's them standing
over there for sure?
371
00:32:58,068 --> 00:33:02,223
Take the combination of them
fellas standing over there...
372
00:33:02,323 --> 00:33:04,861
...and them shiny cars...
373
00:33:04,950 --> 00:33:07,436
...and them fancy-looking girls,
374
00:33:07,536 --> 00:33:09,730
means they's all criminals.
375
00:33:09,830 --> 00:33:11,565
Why do you say that?
376
00:33:11,665 --> 00:33:14,832
Decent folk don't live that good.
377
00:33:14,918 --> 00:33:19,168
Now you mosey on over there
and take a closer look.
378
00:34:09,640 --> 00:34:13,890
You get a good look at him?
- Close as I am to you.
379
00:34:21,944 --> 00:34:23,944
Him?
- No.
380
00:34:29,743 --> 00:34:32,281
Oh, my God.
381
00:34:45,301 --> 00:34:47,340
I like that song.
382
00:34:48,512 --> 00:34:50,512
Well, don't look at me.
383
00:34:53,601 --> 00:34:55,640
Want to dance?
384
00:34:55,728 --> 00:34:59,939
You know how?
- Of course I do. Kind of.
385
00:35:00,024 --> 00:35:02,859
It's a 12-gauge, Mr Dillinger.
386
00:35:04,485 --> 00:35:08,864
I'm Big Jim Willard.
I've killed 35 men in my day.
387
00:35:08,949 --> 00:35:12,019
And I wouldn't mind if you were number 36.
388
00:35:12,119 --> 00:35:14,119
So let's go, sonny.
389
00:35:36,977 --> 00:35:39,442
Saint Paul, baby, Saint Paul.
390
00:36:27,069 --> 00:36:29,358
Is that him?
- There he is.
391
00:36:30,447 --> 00:36:33,592
I think he's in the second car there.
392
00:36:33,742 --> 00:36:35,818
Post arms.
393
00:36:35,911 --> 00:36:38,829
Have you got a statement for us?
394
00:37:00,561 --> 00:37:03,214
Where's your hat? Going collegiate?
395
00:37:03,314 --> 00:37:04,465
Somebody stole my hat.
396
00:37:04,565 --> 00:37:07,134
What you think about the President?
397
00:37:07,234 --> 00:37:09,804
I like him. I like the New
Deal and I like the NRA.
398
00:37:09,904 --> 00:37:12,681
I like especially the help
he's been giving the banks.
399
00:37:12,781 --> 00:37:14,725
What about social security?
400
00:37:14,825 --> 00:37:19,037
Well, it could ruin the country.
401
00:37:19,121 --> 00:37:21,857
If people want money,
they ought to go to work.
402
00:37:21,957 --> 00:37:23,734
Did you kill patrolman O'Malley?
403
00:37:23,834 --> 00:37:26,570
I never killed anybody in my life.
I just steal money.
404
00:37:26,670 --> 00:37:28,821
You've been known to
carry a gun and use it.
405
00:37:28,921 --> 00:37:31,784
It is dangerous work.
- What do you think of this jail?
406
00:37:31,884 --> 00:37:35,004
It's a nice place, nice people.
407
00:37:35,095 --> 00:37:38,374
Ain't no jail can hold me.
It's an exercise in futility.
408
00:37:38,474 --> 00:37:41,544
Say that again.
- It's an exercise in futility.
409
00:37:41,644 --> 00:37:43,546
What do you think of the DA?
410
00:37:43,646 --> 00:37:47,049
I like him. I like the
police commissioner, too.
411
00:37:47,149 --> 00:37:50,426
I think we're all going to get
along fine here, don't you, ma'am?
412
00:37:50,526 --> 00:37:53,501
Put your arm around him, Mr Estill.
413
00:38:02,414 --> 00:38:05,084
We got sec
