Curmudgeonly old Frank lives by himself. His routine involves daily visits to his local library, where he has a twinkle in his eye for the librarian. His grown children are concerned about their father’s well-being and buy him a caretaker robot. Initially resistant to the idea, Frank soon appreciates the benefits of robotic support – like nutritious meals and a clean house – and eventually begins to treat his robot like a true companion. With his robot’s assistance, Frank’s passion for his old, unlawful profession is reignited, for better or worse.

412
00:28:50,314 --> 00:28:52,024
<i>This is ridiculous.
A robot caretaker</i>
413
00:28:52,107 --> 00:28:55,152
<i>is just as humane as a human caretaker.
'Cause they're more efficient...</i>
414
00:28:55,235 --> 00:28:57,487
<i>Hunter, I don't care... it
doesn't make them inhumane.</i>
415
00:28:57,529 --> 00:28:59,740
<i>All right, well, she said that you said
you were saying that the robot is...</i>
416
00:28:59,823 --> 00:29:01,116
The robot's fine.
417
00:29:01,200 --> 00:29:03,952
Just go do something nice with your kids.
418
00:29:05,621 --> 00:29:07,247
<i>Okay, all right.</i>
419
00:29:07,873 --> 00:29:10,375
<i>Would you tell her to stop bugging me, please?
We're on vacation.</i>
420
00:29:10,459 --> 00:29:11,960
<i>All right. Bye.
All right, bye.</i>
421
00:29:19,510 --> 00:29:23,222
You're not telling Hunter anything
about the locks, are you?
422
00:29:23,597 --> 00:29:25,891
Developing trust is part of my programme.
423
00:29:25,974 --> 00:29:29,061
I can keep anything that you feel
is important between just us.
424
00:29:29,144 --> 00:29:31,480
Perfect.
Keep your mouth shut.
425
00:29:32,105 --> 00:29:35,108
Not a word about anything to anybody.
426
00:30:16,108 --> 00:30:17,192
Wait.
427
00:30:27,578 --> 00:30:28,787
Eureka.
428
00:30:40,132 --> 00:30:41,466
Wait here.
429
00:31:05,449 --> 00:31:09,995
This reminds me of a job I did in South Florida.
430
00:31:11,788 --> 00:31:14,166
It was probably a bad idea,
scaling that high-rise,
431
00:31:14,249 --> 00:31:16,752
but I was involved with this
knockout redhead at the time.
432
00:31:16,835 --> 00:31:19,338
I can't remember
her name. Okay.
433
00:31:20,047 --> 00:31:21,131
Okay.
434
00:31:26,470 --> 00:31:28,222
Let's see what we got here.
435
00:31:28,722 --> 00:31:31,808
This kind of stuff used to be solid gold to me.
436
00:31:32,351 --> 00:31:35,979
I never got caught because I understood
building plans better than anybody else.
437
00:31:36,063 --> 00:31:38,440
My family thought I was a maintenance man.
438
00:31:39,274 --> 00:31:40,400
It's open.
439
00:31:42,736 --> 00:31:44,112
Which book do you want?
440
00:31:44,196 --> 00:31:46,490
<i>Jane Eyre? Don Quixote?</i>
441
00:31:46,573 --> 00:31:49,159
Take whatever's most valuable by the ounce.
442
00:31:52,913 --> 00:31:55,290
But I really was a maintenance man.
443
00:31:55,374 --> 00:31:56,792
Because I couldn't spend the money.
444
00:31:57,501 --> 00:32:01,630
I had two toolboxes, my work
tools and my other tools.
445
00:32:01,713 --> 00:32:04,716
And I taught Hunter how to
fix just about anything.
446
00:32:05,342 --> 00:32:07,010
We're supposed to be quiet, Frank.
447
00:32:07,094 --> 00:32:08,887
What?
448
00:32:12,307 --> 00:32:14,101
Why are you wearing a space helmet?
449
00:32:15,310 --> 00:32:17,229
Frank, we need to leave.
450
00:32:20,190 --> 00:32:22,192
Yeah, I know. I know.
451
00:32:32,744 --> 00:32:36,081
That was more dangerous
than you led me to believe, Frank.
452
00:32:36,164 --> 00:32:37,332
Oh...
453
00:32:38,876 --> 00:32:41,461
Jennifer's just going to love this.
454
00:32:41,545 --> 00:32:43,755
Frank, it's time to go to bed.
455
00:32:45,007 --> 00:32:47,551
You know what you are?
You're no fun.
456
00:32:49,219 --> 00:32:52,139
You were crackerjack at those locks, though.
457
00:32:52,890 --> 00:32:55,976
I never could show Hunter how to do that stuff.
458
00:32:56,602 --> 00:32:59,062
I wanted to.
I wanted to.
459
00:33:00,564 --> 00:33:02,191
But I never did.
460
00:33:03,984 --> 00:33:06,111
He was a little hellraiser.
461
00:33:07,070 --> 00:33:09,323
He burned a hole in the carpet.
462
00:33:10,032 --> 00:33:11,909
Or was that Madison?
463
00:33:13,994 --> 00:33:15,579
I read about it.
464
00:33:18,415 --> 00:33:20,626
They used to send me letters.
465
00:33:21,877 --> 00:33:24,046
Frank, it's very late.
466
00:33:26,048 --> 00:33:27,633
Do you remember?
467
00:33:28,842 --> 00:33:31,386
Was that you or was that your sister?
468
00:33:35,974 --> 00:33:37,601
I missed so much.
469
00:33:44,942 --> 00:33:46,610
When I came home,
470
00:33:47,611 --> 00:33:50,239
I thought you were the neighbour's kid.
471
00:33:55,327 --> 00:33:56,787
Why does that matter?
472
00:34:11,552 --> 00:34:13,887
You know what? I don't even
mind this stuff any more.
473
00:34:13,971 --> 00:34:15,973
I'm too busy planning our next job.
474
00:34:16,056 --> 00:34:19,643
Where should we hit next? The MoMA?
The Guggenheim?
475
00:34:19,726 --> 00:34:21,687
<i>Call from Madison Weld.</i>
476
00:34:21,770 --> 00:34:22,855
Maddy, my girl!
477
00:34:22,938 --> 00:34:24,189
<i>Dad, are you there?</i>
478
00:34:24,273 --> 00:34:26,775
Oh, you look pretty.
Where are you now?
479
00:34:26,859 --> 00:34:30,070
<i>Daddy, Hunter is claiming that
you're now fine with th
