CC vs danmaku — know the difference
Danmaku (scrolling viewer comments) is not a transcript. This tool deliberately skips danmaku XML and only offers uploader-provided caption tracks — Chinese, sometimes English. If a video is danmaku-only, expect an honest “no subtitles” rather than a file full of comments.
